I have a AFE Stage2 CAI intake and I am gettin a Flowmaster 40 series. Single muffler2.5in ... with two 2.25pipes out into duals. I know flowmaster isent that good for perfromance but I love the sound. How much hp and torque will the two produce? I am thinking maybe 10-15HP?

 

it'll most likely be the same, give or take 3 or 4 horsepower. it's possible to lose hp...very

You won't notice a damn difference. Should have spent the money on getting an e fan, that'll free up more HP than any CAI and muff. Mmmm muff...drooolllll

 

Realistically, about 8-10 which will net you about 5-6 RWHP. However they are important pieces if you plan on other mods...

 

Dyno it.
Get a baseline number. Add the exhaust, then go back.
That is the only way to get a true number.

Why dont you get a much better muffler like a Cherrybomb Vortex?? Sounds awsome and flows alot better.

 

mostly in CTD and OT, ill look in 3rd gen for when people have questions....



as for the guy that said go dyno it, its not even worth the gas money to go to a place that does dynos to see what gains you got... you wont notice anything while driving..
