Default A/C problem

I have a problem with my A/C fan (under the hood.) First the fan would not shut off so I had to unplug it. After a while it stopped working all together so I only get cold air from the A/c when my truck is moving. It seems like a short to me but I'm not sure. I've checked the fuse and it's fine. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the fan wouldn't shut off when you killed the ignition?

When I had my 02 ram the A/C fan wasnt working correctly so I took it to the dealer and the service advisor laughed alittle and said it was a common problem and they fixed it for free even though my warrenty was expired.

Yes, the fan wouldn't shut off even when the engine was not running.
