My dad has a '08 HEMI 1500 with roughly 2,500 miles on it. It has been making a weird noise since about 750 miles. It is very high pitched and itis a very quick wee, wee, wee, wee... noise like a bearing or pulley of some kind. My dad took the truck to the dealership he bought it fromto have it fixed and they said they couldn't do anything about it because that noise is normal. Is that true or is that just a crock? I know the 2nd gens have a tendency to make a whining noise when the tranny is in reverse and that is considered "normal" but I would think a pulley or bearing noise would not be a normal thing.
I'm not familiar with what it may be. But you must give the thread more than a few hours to get a helpful response. Most of the regulars are at their 9-5s. Patience.
Is it a noise when you accelerate? Because mine makes a high pitched kinda like a tiny turbo spooling lol when accerlerated. I believe it is pretty normal...
