I have a 2005 Ram 1500 4x4. It did not come with front tow hooks. I see two types on Rams one is a "bar" that fits across the front frame rails, and the others are two seprate hooks with brackets to fit on eachrail. I am a bit confused which one will work for my pickup? Any help?

The 1500 takes the "Bar" type the single hooks that look like the Mopar M from the top are fro the 2500 & 3500s
I don't know if they made any changes on the 05-08s

 

I have just had a set of the bar tow hooks put on my 07. I think that they are rated for 5,000 maybe a little more. They look good and work good as well. To put them on you have to take off the front bumper
