Default Is this normal????

I have noticed anytime I park my truck for any period of time (usually when im at work) when I get in to go home I put it in gear and it is really hesitant to move. I have to give it a decent amount of gas to get moving. Is anyone else having this problem?? My truck is a 07 Q/C 4.7 Auto with a few mods but nothing major.

Same here. Basically it's just when you first throw it in drive and hit the gas it has a little studder.

That is normal. Dodge Ram tranny fluid system is unusual in that the tranny pan filter plugs directly into the tranny pump. When you stop the engine, the fluid drains out of the pump, through the filter, and back into the pan. It takes a minute for the pump to achieve full pressure after it has sat idle. This is also the reason that you check tranny fluid level when the fluid is warm and engine running. Also, the pan filter has a tight fit into the throttle body (gasket, set screw to hold in place).

None of my three Dodges have done that after only one day of being parked. My Gen 2 would do it after being parked for a week or so.

the tranny thing sounds right.you also have to remember that when you start it after sitting for pretty much a full day, everything is cold and the cooling fan will come on when you first start it(thats what mine does and most of my frieds do also)untill it warms up a little.this will also make it sound like your giveing it more gas to make it go also.
