I went out this morning to go to work, I start up the truck, and a light comes on "Check Gauges" so I check em, and my oil pressure is all the way on Low (L) ! So I had no time to deal with it, so I drove the Camry[:@]. What is the problem? Why is there no oil pressure? We changed the oil in it on Sunday, and I’ve been driving it all week, and now today this comes up. Help!

 

I'm really not trying to be a smart a$$, but did you check you oil after you noticed the low indicator? I've seen gaskets stay stuck on the block after removing an old filter. Then the new filter goes on, and under pressure the thing leaks all the oil out (coated the interstate once with a very nice even coat of Mobil 1). Just a thought....

 

My truck just started doing that as well. I shut it off then refire it and all is good. I don't get it.

 

I had this happen to me once last winter. The engine sounded terrible and i shut it off right away. I waited a min or 2 and started it again. Haven't had the problem again.

I had the same problem but mine was the oil pressure sensor.I replaced it my self i think the part was around $20 its located near the oil filter well in the hemi's. Got the part in autozone. Hope that helps.
