Default Bad 02 sensor,do I need 2?

My truck threw a code. Sensor 2 in bank 1 is bad. Do I need to replace both in bank 1 or just one? They said it was after the cat. Does that sound right? Is that downstream or upstream? What tools will I need to borrow to change these out?

Sensor 2 bank1 is the driver side post cat o2, so it's downstream from the cat. A open-end wrench will do the trick...and you just need to replace the post cat o2. All the post cat o2 do is monitor cat efficiency so you could also put a 02 sim in depending on your local smog laws.

If it was me i'd swap the driver side o2 with the passenger side...if the code switches to the other side then it's the o2 for sure.

I am also getting some jerkiness at 45mph and above first thing in the morning. But not after work. Could this be because of the 02 sensor?
