Default Gears for Drag

Need some helpI want to put some gears in my truck and it has the stock 3.92 will 4.10 make a difference and are the 4.56 too low?I know some people put those gears (4.56) on the lifted tucks with big tires but im running the stock 20 on the stock tires (275/55 R20) I think. Gas and topend is not a issue, its not a daily driver its mostly for the track.

3.92 to 4.10 isn't enough change. 4.88s or something in the 5s will be your better bet. You'll need way more than just that for the track, though. You're going to need some big power.

If he's driving a half ton then 4:56's are the lowest available. They just don't make alot for the 9.25 Chrysler rear.

The strip is all about making rpm's fast, the 4.88s will do this. I wouldn't even think anything less than 4.56. And YES, 4.88s are available from a number of manufacturers including Yukon and US Gear...
