this doesnt seem right but my overhead avg is about 11.5...about 50/50 highway/city miles...i dont think somethins right

 

The overhead is never correct! The only way to get your true MPG is to reset your odometer the next time you fill up and then when you fill up again do the math! (xx miles divided by xx gallons)

it's ridiculous how many times i need to explain that to people...it's simple.

 

Actual mileage is 10-11 city and 13-14 highway with my 08 1500 hemi at fillups. The over head reads between 12 and 16. Seems it's calibrated a bit high.

 

15-16 city 18-20 hwy, foot very much into it majority of the time.

 

I live in a rural area, so "city" for me isn't very heavy traffic. But I get about 15-16 puttering around, and get 18+ on the highway. And I hand calculate every fill up, my on board calculator isn't very close most of the time.

13-14 mpg mixed 50/50 cty/hwy. Usually around 15-16 all highway...in the summer doing 70-75mph. When it gets cold in winter the bottom drops out of the gas tank...lol.
