According to the pamphlet I got at the dealer, the SLT includes body-color upper front fascia, cloth-trimmed 40/20/40 split-bench seat, carpet floor covering, power windows, power door locks, tilt steering wheel, speed control, power heated folding exterior mirrors, remote keyless entry, 17-inch cast aluminum wheels.

The Big Horn, (which I bought), includes all of that, PLUS chrome billet grille, fog lamps, 20-inch cast aluminum wheels on the 1500 and 17-inch cast aluminum wheels on the HDs. Mine has the 26 gallon tank. The upgrade is an option.

 

Don`t forget there is also a TRX4 and a TRX4 offroad. My dealer said there is also a SXT version but I haven't seen that on any trucks around here.

 

opposite locker, you're probably right about the 34 gallon tank, I knew the first two were correct (20" wheels and power slider window) but wasn't sure of the third component. I also have the 3.92 rear end, and Sirius isn't currently part of the package because all '08s have the Sirius.

 

WOW you're right there are some good rebates on the NEW trucks. Best price so far is around 25K on the truck itself 08 quad cab 4x4 hemi big horn edition, 20"chrome, bed-liner

Found a 07 thunderoad 4x4 w/low miles and has the hemi... Ahh I wonder a good price for that to make it worth wild.

Also would that 3/36 transfer to me on the 07? If I get a truck from a private seller can I get it "certify warrantied?"

 

My 08 didn`t come with the Sirius.

 

not sure about the 3/36, but i just transferred an extended warranty on my '07 for $50. the extended warranty i transferred is 4/100K.

 

PhotoRam, no Sirius in am '08 Ram 1500? Huh, I thought I remembered from Dodges' web site that Sirius was standard equipment with the '08s. I may have to check on that.

 

Here is my window sticker of my 08 Bighorn. It is not a specific package per se. I agree with everyone in buying an 08 over an 07. You will probably pay the same or less, and get the lifetime powertrain warranty. Skip the 2.99 gas cause you have togive up a large portion of the rebates in exchange for the discount in gas. I bought my truck in March and paid 22k with a sticker of 34k
. I kinda wish I would have waited because they have come down even more lately...
