This caught me off guard. I turned on my wipers today to clear off the massive amount of New England pollen and the driver's wiper worked fine, but the passenger wiper just stood still. So I looked at it and removed it. It seems as though something is disconnected or loose underneath. Has anyone had any problems similar to this? Also - any suggestions on repairing it?

nope...mine will quit workin for no reason at all unless i put them on constant wipe and if i shut em off, they stop....otherwise they work fine lol.....take off the wiper cowl and see if somethin broke or came disconnected
