need some avice on some subs
as yall can see i gots the regcab and wanting to put a lil bump in it what is a good combo to go with one thats fits rright behind the seat butnot half to set stright up i got a some off the wall 800w amp so alls i need is some good subs if anybody can help me it would be mighty white of ya
If you already got the amp, I would just buy 1 good 10" sub and stick it behind the drivers seat with a standard truck box. You will get better sound from 1 good sub than 2 cheaper units combined. You will also have any space that will be available behind the passenger seat for whatever. This is what I did on my previous truck and it worked great. I had a 450W amp and bought 1 pioneer 10" sub and in that small cab, it thumped nicely.
I've got a Rockford Fosgate 10" thin Punch behind the backseat of my Mega Cab...seat still fully reclines, great sub. Powered by Rockford Punch 500x2 bridged amp...more than enough power there, I usually have to back off of it on hard hitting tunes. Very pleased with it though, great sound ina small package, and it costs a heck of alot less than the JL Audio thin subs (although if you can afford them, they're pretty sweet too.)
i got a wege box for 2 15"subs andi found some good 15's that will fit in it but will it still sound good due to the smaller box and my truck being a reguler cab or should ithit hard????

If the subs are new, it will have a listing for the area of box needed for best sound. In most cases boxes are made oversized and you will need to stuff towels in to reduce the area.
As for the sound, what kind are they and what are they rated for power? If they are good, you might be running half power on your amp because the bass may be to much for your ears to handle.
