what do you need it for. Do you need the height? What about a tonneau (they look nicer)

How much more sleek do you want than the Leer flush mount cap?

The ARE LSX is the best tonneau on the market for the 06-08 ram.

I have one and couldnt be happier. Remote lock, interior light, gas struts for lift. Custom painted to match your factory paint.

Looks great. Its about 5-6" taller than the bed rails so it gives the back a more full look. Its contoured and raised in the middle to match the contour of the hood. Also had a slight curvature along the length. Also improves milage according to my records.

Ramit the reason that I am not looking for a tonneau is cause I have a german shepherd and it would be easier to put her back there instead of in the cab.

L and R I guess maybe I should go to a store and look at the Leers but from the ones that I have looked at online have not seemed too sleak.

$500-$x,000

Does your rear window in your cab have a window?
I've got two labs and I was gonna buy a topper, already fab'd a bracket to hold a 8" fan blowing air from the cab to the would be topper, but I decided just to let them sit in the rear seat.

Ramit, Yea The rear window in a sliding one. I had planned on doing something with a fan from the cab to the back also just so it does not get to hot if we are going on a long trip. She sits in the back seat now but gets car sick very easy. And when a baby coming into the picture I dont want to have to dog throwing up all over the baby.

Try Century Caps,

I have a High top on mine for the same reason, our Akita, now too old to get in. You don't need a fan, there are front and side windows that open

maalna2, if the gallery was working you could see mine. I have the leer. You can get the same flush setup without windows too. You can kinda see it in my sig. I will try to look for a pic on line that I can link to.
