A/C blows hard on drivers, not pass. UPDATE!
Noticed something recently that I never really noticed before on my 02 Ram 1500, the A/C blows out pretty damn cold and hard on my side, but on the passengers side, blows out very weak.
Anyone know how I could possibly fix this myself? I called Dodge and they said it would cost about 400-500 dollars for them to fix.
Ouch.

Update:
So I pulled off the dash on the passenger's side so I could take a look at the blend door. It appears to be functioning properly. I have searched and looked at all threads on the forum concerning the blend door. When I turn the **** on my climate control, the blend door responds quickly, and appears to go where it is supposed to. If I apply a little bit of pressure on the blend door, it doesn't give much, which IMO, is a good thing. I'm seriously going crazy, because it's going to be summer here in Oklahoma soon, and temperatures are going to be in the triple digits. Anyone have any more ideas as to what this could be?? I really cannot afford to get this fixed, and I'm not sure Dodge will diagnose it for free, seeing as how it's not under warranty anymore.

Blend controls the hot/cold selection. You want to find the other door that handles vent selection - dash, floor, defrost, etc.
I have never been inside my truck's hvac setup - just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

The door I'm talking about is the door you're talking about, I believe. When I turn the dial that controls floor, vent, defroster, etc..., it moves. As far as I can tell, it's not broken, but I was wondering if anyone had the same scenario, but when they pulled theirs out, if it was indeed broken.
the only diagram I have is the one from the service manual which of course shows the dual zone control. It shows the passenger side blend door to be in the center, top location towards the firewall and the drivers blend door to be right in the middle, mid-height right in the front where it should be reachable. To check it you would move the temp control back and forth, this controls the doors position. The mode door actuator is to the left of that, about a foot or so, same level... looks like kinda behind the radio area somewhere.
Dont know if this helps or not since the manual doesnt go into which, the drivers or the passengers is the only one in the single zone setup.

There should be two doors. One to control flow from the heater core/cooling and one to control flow to the dash/floor and defroster. Not sure if this helps you.
