$700 seems about right for the weld on lambo door kit, I almost went that route (could have had a weld onset for $500)then I started asking other people who have lambo doors and they all went with the bolt on kit. When I asked why they did the bolt on vs weld on the replys were all the same 1. the weld on hinges are permanent 2. its alot easier to install the bolt on hinges, if they are not aligned right its easy to adjust them; with the weld on hinges they have to be pretty much dead nuts or you will be cutting the hinges off and starting again. I havent seen any bolt on lambo hinges for the ram for under $1,000.

Also make sure it is the hinges made for the ram, not universal ones. $700 seems way to cheap the be bolt on, unless the guy has a damn good hookup

yea $700 seems way to cheap for the bolt on ones, I was just thinking about it and it may even be a little cheap for weld on hinges. I forgot about having to extend the wiring harness on the door, plus all the other labor that is needed.

That just seems way to cheap. If you have it done and everything comes out fine, i'll be the next guy in line to have him to it if he's close to PA

My friend works for a Chrysler Dealership in Indianapolis. Still not sure if I want to get it done. Too many things on my list to do. I need to get the spray in liner done and I'm still trying to get my black chrome door handles done without paying alot. Only found 1 person to do it and its 360 for mirrors and handles and they dont want to warranty the paint.

hell man, find out what kit the hinges are. If they are bolt on and he would be interested in doing a group buy at that price im pretty sure he could sell a few kits between the various ram forums.
