ya i checked in my store but we only have the foam stuff and that looks like rubber. and our stuff is white..i want black so you cant see it on the black diamond plate

got any pictures of the diamond plate box? I'm in the midst of building a center console to replace the dam split bench seat and am looking for ideas for the outside.
hows it look?

i personally think it looks bad ***. it even has a dodge embelem on it. ill get pics over the weekend. i was also thinking about putting black diamond plate on the doors where theres that little strip of carpet/flooring

Haha well at least you're doing it right. I just took my old subs and box from my last car and threw them in the back seat of my QC. I keep telling myself that it's only temporary but..... well at least it sounds good.

the box i built isnt any thing great..but it sits on the floor of the middle rear seat. only problem with it, is that it covers the cup holders...but oh well....other than that, its perfect.

thanks so much nitto!i got the same stuff you got. put 1 layer on my box, and 1 layer under the lip of the sub so it would be a little thicker.....hooked up the sub to the box....put my bolts in.....and hooked her up. NO RATTLING!!!!! didnt sound as good as my giant tube i had, but a little adjustment to my amp and she sounds perfect. a little more tinkering with the adjustments on my amp and it'll be perfect. LOOKS 100X BETTER THAN MY TUBE TOO. just wanted to say thanks, i would have never thoght of weather stripping!

haha, ya. my next idea is this. probally wont happen though...a lot of work. ford dually fender LED markers on tow mirrors used as a turn signal. heres a moch-up i made.
