Id consider trading you for mine. Its chrome that i had painted and the paint dont stick to it for ****. The guy did horrible prep!!! I could basically PEEL the paint off in sheets and it still looks good underneath...

dont buy new stuff dude. thers plenty of guys on here that would trade their chrome stuff on here for yours. works in both ways..you get the chrome you want, and they get a paintable surface. chrome is a bitch to paint over. hell, if i didnt have 2 small dents in my rear bumper id trade you.

That "flat black" plastic is a very paintable surface that requires very little prep work done to it. You may consider having it painted to "color match" your truck, rather than rip it off and replacing with a chrome one.
Just a thought.

Oh, and one more thing:

oh and to COMPLETLY change the look of your truck, you can keep what you have as hammer said. paint the rear bumper to match, and paint the grille shell. then you can sell off your front bumper to someone, because im sure someone wants it, and use that money to get a sport front bumper. once again, on ebay theyre fairly inexpensive. just get it painted to match. just remember things dont really happen over night. modding a truck is a process.
