I was wondering if anyone has done this or knows if it can be done? I need to add the sixth seat to my truck. I want to know if I can just remove the center console and bolt in a center seat from another truck or if I have to swap out the entire front seat assembly? Any info will be helpful.

 

Do you have bucket seats? I'm not sure the center seat would fit with the bucket seats, I think it will only fit with the 40/20/40 seat.

 

Yep, I got the buckets.

 

Its seperate bolt in parts, i crawled in mine to look. Personally i want the console instead of the flip seat. If your seats are grey and your willing to swap, let me know! The sooner the better, im a trucker and rolling out tomorrow!

 

Would it be a straight swap? I'm worried about the outlet harness and the rear a/c ducts.

That doesn't look like a straight swap... The Quad cab doesn't have the rear air ducts, only the mega cab has that.

 

i thought the megacab didnt have any rear ducts. i thought the rear of a mega had really bad air. like it got hot as **** in the back

 

I didnt realize the console had a power outlet and air ducts in it...kinda changes the thought for me. I dont care they are there BUT if its there i want it to be functional and that looks like it would be some serious work.

 

I want to find a Mega cab at a junkyard with the center seat and try to swap my console out.
