Default Exhaust before wheels

So I've been thinking about redoing the exhaust on my truck. I currently just have a Flowmaster 40 series instead of the stock muffler. That's the only mod I have in teh exhaust. I have been looking at these chrome "grommets" (for lack of a better word), that you put through the body and can have the exhaust exit through them. I have a HemiSport, so I have enough body to add these and not have it look funky, in my opinion.

Question is, is it possible to have a dual system exit before the rear wheels. I haven't gotten a chance to crawl under there yet, but was curious if anyone else has ever seen/heard of this being done.

Thanks,
Chris

Is it possible?......Heck yeah its possible.I'm going to do the same to mine(eventually when i the $ comes around).A friend of mine did it to his truck with the 40 series. Its loud, But it looks and sounds cool[sm=icon_rock.gif].I wouldn't put it thru the body though.Put it right under the body, You have to count for body/frame and overcourse exhaust movement. And besides why would you want to put a hole thru your bedside and ruin your paint? When you get it done post some pics so we can see what it looks like.

I just installed the Magnaflow cat back... It exits in front of the rear wheels on the right side, looks and sounds sweet. I'll try and post some pics so you can check it out. I wasn't sure at first, but i'm very pleased with the system.

The gas tank is in the way on the d/s.

Dual out p/s is the best bet before the tire. After, you can have it on both sides.
