Anyone know how to change the interval before the oil change message pops up? It seems to be set for 2500 miles, and I would like for it to come on at about 4800 miles. I looked through the owners manual, and the only information I found was how to reset it.

I don't think it's something you can change, and I don't think it's set at a certain number of miles, but rather it takes into account various things including your driving habits, the outside temperature, and the condition of the oil.

 

So why does it always kick in at 2500 miles?
