Default torque for headers???

so...I've been driving around lately and I know I need to check the torque on the header bolts but how much torque???...also...Im hoping it maybe just a small leak but at certain RPM's I get almost a "pinging" sound I run good gas in it 92 octane from BP....best around here anyways......so hopefully it's just a small header leak and tightening it up will fix...or is it just wishfull thinking.... I just hope it's not anything inside the engine.

i'm guessing the sound is normal and the oem headers were just hiding it cuase they have so much mass.

I have never gotten any audable pinging sound but it's possible the CAI, header & exhaust note I have hides it if it's not that loud.
As far as Torquing to a specific #, the way I was taught was to tighten it just snug with a hand wrench, drive it till it's good & hot & snug 'em again. This is supposed to be the only "approved" method for aluminum heads...
