I have an 08 Ram with nitrogen in the tires. Anybody know where can I get them filled besides the dealer?

Do a google search. I would say most of the big chain stores will be able to do it for you, also just call around and ask a few stores if they are even able to do this.

Jram, nitrogen in the tires really doesn't do anything. regular air is 80% nitrogen anyway.

I wouldnt worry about paying for nitro air either. Just keep your tires properly inflated with regular air. The only benefit using pure nitrogen air in car and truck tireswould be your tires probably wouldn't leak down as fast. Nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules so the theory is nitrogen would not leak out as fast as air.

Thanks for all the info.

The local dealership said they would do it for free for the first year. Then after that I have to pay 8 bucks a tire. Think I'll do it for free for the first year and then switch to regular.

Thanks again for all the info.

Actually, it's 88% nitrogen. There's almost no benefit to filling them with nitrogen. Like another poster stated, they'll just leak a little slower. Actually, with 100% nitrogen, your tires will be heavier, which would decrease your mileage. The tire pressure is what's most important.
