HELP!! A friend of mine has a 2002 dodge 1500 pickup 4 door. When the ignition is in run, everything works fine. When the key is removed, nothing works. No interior lights, no horn, no hazzard lights, nothing. Got any ideas?

 

Tell him to put is keys in the ignition if he needs to use any of that stuff.

 

The interior lights should work though, as soon as you open the door. The hazards should always work as well, that could be a safety issue.

I would check out your fuses and make sure nothing is blown, or a loose relay.

 

check the scroll next to the headlight switch, roll it upwards and see if you got interior lights...could the problem there.......then check your fuses, and do some checking with a multi-meter and look for a short someplace.....ignition switch could be a possibility as well, but i would think otherwise....
