just got my superchips flashpaq
theres alot more options on this one then the one I had for my old dak. what does every body set the shift points at and rev limiter. I set it at 87 octane till I burn this tank of gas, its at 3/4 now. so should be gone by the weekend[:@] andy body run performance with 87 in it? I used to in my dak the odd time and it never pinged at all. but dunno how the hemi's are.
and so far it shifts sooooo much better now, I'm really suprized how much better it is, and the throttle response too. cant wait to put it on performance

I've said this a zillion times: The firmness of the tranny shifts alone are worth the price of the tuner, IMO. Tranny shifts will feel the same on performance, but you'll pick up a bunch of HP, especially in the mid & high rpm ranges. You'll feel it best passing someone on the interstate.
I didn't go too crazy on the rev limit or WOT shift points, my truck is a grunt truck, so I rarely live in that area anyway, just went a little higher than the defaults. I did max the speed limiter out though [8D].
The Flashpaq REALLY advances the timing a bunch, I'd not recommend putting any less than 91 octane in it on the performance or tow tunes.

for normal driving I had the rev limiter set on 5,900, and I didnt move the shifts at all....on a stock block you dont wanna be going over 6,000 rpm too often
I've heard of people using 87 with performance tune, but I would never do that; i want the pistons to stay where they belong ( in the block)

ya, thats what thought. and I should have this tank burned by the weekend. so I'll be putting it on performance and see how that goes. I upped the rev and shift points a lil bit. I've never had it WOT yet. but damn....... I love how it shifts now
and soon when I go down to a smaller tire and get rid of these 35's. it should be alot better too.
