I love my Ram overall!! If I could change a few things......1. the tranny, it just seems like it is always hunting for a gear when cruising around town (could be the MDS??) 2. The soft suspension up front

Dont get me wrong though, this Truck is Great!

Overall you won't be disappointed. Had a friend test drive one and a week later he bought one, and before this he had never owned a dodge truck.

No other truck looks as good as the Dodge IMO.

They all work about the same for hauling kids. =)

Thanks for the response! I too will miss the Solid front, old truck is an 01 Ram 1500 Off Road Edition. Been a great truck just need to more full doors for the youngsters! All in all I'll be looking forward to an improvement in MPG! Looking at 9-11 on a good day! And I can't agree more, best looking truck on the road! And if anybody knows how to adjust picture size I'll be glad to put the old girl on here! Thanks again!

I had a '98 RCSB 1500 lifted with 35"tires. My '04 QCSB Hemi 1500 is a huge improvement. HP and fuel economy is a NO CONTEST, torque is about the same. Only regret is losing the solid front axle. If I had to do it over again, I'd have opted for the 2500.
But over-all, no regrets. It's been a solid, dependable truck and the only issue to date has been a blown shock that was replaced under warranty and I really can't blame the shock, it's not the first factory shock I've blown...

Take a look at new 08's also. With the huge discounts you might make out better and get the lifetime powertrain warranty. My dealer has a used06 Hemi that is2k less thana new 08.
