Who has linex or other spray in and what did you pay?
Line-X, over the rails, short bed for $425. I got it done about 6 months ago and I just "chuck" stuff in the bed. It still looks great and have had no issues. Also, Line-X has a warranty that if you knock a chunk out of the Line-X, they will respray it for you for free (I cant remember if it was just my local store or nationwide, but definitely look into it).
heres the reason i'm considering both. I want to linex the truck because due to hauling a few minor things the paint in the bed is slightly scratched in places. so I want to linex it to get that taken care of since all paint is removed when they linex it. then if i want to i'm gonna put the bedrug in so that I have the nice material for camping uses and other things to just chillax in the back and don't have to worry about water getting trapt and rusting the bed especially since there are some scratches in it as of now.
I got the color matched Linex, silver, over the rails. It topped out at $800.00 with tax. ($200 for the color) I like it, but the price is steep.
I was told the kevlar coating was to ensure that the color did not fade, don't know if you would need it with regular black Linex. My old '95 Ram 1500 had the black for the last 6 years, and it still looks good.

Line-X w/ xtra over the rails 750 out the door. Been back twice for touch up, but they just smile and fix where I've torn the edges throwing, dragging and shoving construction trash in and out of the truck.
bricks, broken concrete, old tile walls with diamond wire, broken cast iron tub chunks, etc, etc, etc.
only place there has been a problem is the end of the tailgate where things get dragged and the inside edge of the rails where things get shoved.
I got the xtra b/c of how hard my bed gets beat on for work, the fact that it makes the color resist fading was just bonus.

The vortex has lifetime too. Not sure if its around by you, but there is no extra charge for the kevlar. If it fades, cracks or anything, they will fix it!
i would like to add that when i had my bed done(rhino, color match) they told me that the spray in was guaranteed but not the paint. the liner is silver, but they also paint it and clear coat it to match the vehichle even better. of coarse they didnt say that till it was already done. i guess i should have asked. but so far so good. i donnt hual a whole lot though. mostly just the quad.
I got Rhino over the rails in black and paid about $500. I got a coupon off their web site for playing their "game." (Everyone wins at least $25 off) I had it in my old Dakota and loved it, which is why I got it again.
