305/55/20 = 33.2x12/20

It should fit......my 33x13/18 rubs SLIGHTLY only when the wheel is locked, so since you are looking at a 12" you should be fine. (**disclaimer**I am no "tire guy" though)

one shop told me 305 /55/20 will not fit on my stock 20 rim and would probably rub on the inside ...if thats true that sucks

ive learned that some shops are just fcukin dumb. a guy i go to (use to) told me that there was no way in hell gonna get a 34" tire in my truck. he told me i was gonna have to grind the metal on my truck to get it to not rub....damb ***......after putting 35's on my truck.....i realized i could have got 37's in there without a problem!

I run 305/50/20 with no problem. Not sure about 55 series but it appears I'd have the room to do it.

thanks guys for the feed back
do you think running 305 /55 is to wide for the fender well or should i stick with the 305/50
i only like the 55 besause it it taller and wider than stock
i heard 50 is smaller than stock can you notice a big difference???
