Default Exhaust ddump

if i was to dump mmy exhaust would this work, i will cut my exhasut coming out the back of my truck about 4-6 in away from the muffler slip a turn down on and then clamp it down with an exhasut clamp, would weld it bu t dont have access yo my welder
please let me know what you think i need to know if this will work or not

yea i know that right now my exhaust is extremely loud but its not gargaly at all its got a nice low deep tone to it i just dont like the look of the exhust out the rear dumping it will look way clean thanx for the feed back
anymore more suggestions by anyone im open to heaarrrr
