ok im finally giving in and going back to stock size. im only getting 11 mpg's with the combination im running now. i know a re-gear would help this out but tires are cheaper. what would anyone recommend for a stock size tire. best mpg's and ride. along with life. I only got 11000 off my factory set. yes there were some burnouts but they didnt last long.

I would check out the BFG Long Trail T/A's They lasted good on my 01 F150 and is what I will be putting on the Ram when it's time.
Sam's club has a good price on them. 275/60R20.

I have the BFG Long Trail's on my Grand Cherokee Overland. They seem to be holding up fine (no sign of any wear after about 9k miles) and the "soccer mom" tread is giving me great mileage. I would have put a more aggressive tread on even though it's my daily driver, but the lady I bought it from put them on specifically to sell the Jeep so they were brand new when I bought it.
I'm getting such good gas mileage right now (about 21 combo and 24 on trips) out of that 4WD 4.7 V8, that unless I make this Jeep into an off-road vehicle, I'll probably replace these tires with the same when the time comes...
