does the 6.1 cam make the hemi tick??
i got my truck back with the new motor an the 6.1 cam in after about 100 Miles i here that tick at idle an easing down the road but when i give it just a lilgas it stops but its pretty loud when I'm by a wall or something or up under it..does the 6.1 cam make more value train noise or anything? or what

yup, it'll tick...I havent heard a hemi yet that dosnt tick, stock or not...you also added the 6.1 springs also, right? The 6.1 springs seem to be a lil noisier also than the stock springs. My truck with the comp 260, 6.1 springs, and 6.1 rods sounds like a typewriter

Yea, I'd not be too alarmed. The Hemi ticks anyway and adding a stronger cam & stronger springs would probably increase it a bit...

aright!!thats what i wanted to here
....i like it tho feels good to have my truck back i did see just a lilbit of torque loss just from a sit still tho it makes it hook better
..and it sounds more bad *** to.
