Default hercules tires???

a friend of a friend said he can get certain tires for wholesale price (used to be a retailer...still has accounts). he said hercules are pretty good and really low priced. has anyone had any experience w/ them? i'd never even heard of the brand before.

Lol, ah yes, hercules. My dad bought a 1998 Pontiac Montana last fall, and the van came with hercules tires. It's our little joke because it's just a funny name for a tire. They actually have been great, they are quite, do good in snow and rain, and haven't given us any issues as of yet. They do look a little worn though, but they've given us good results with the last 10,000 miles on them.

My friend has a pair of the Hercules Mud tires on his dakota and they are pretty good. I looked into buying a set for my ram, but my next set of tires is going to be either a 35x12.5 or a 37x13.5 and the biggest tire of those I found was a 33 ifI recall correctly. But his tires are pretty good and clean well. This winter he just plowed through an open field of snow that was over a foot deep. He just turned into the ditch and took off. That little dakota did well for what I though was going to happen. After all I didn't have to go in and pull his *** out like with the other tires he had. But he has had them for a year and so far they are pretty dependable and appear to go through prettly much anything so far.

i'm guessing i can get them for 1/2 the price of bfg's or the toyo's i've been eye'ing....so what the hell. i guess i give a report after i get em...let you know how well they handle wet cow crap fresh from the pasture and gravel roads with speeds over 60. and probably most importantly...how they do on the hwy.
