Dyno's on the 5.7 Hemi with throttle body spacer shows NO gains whatsoever for both HP & Torque. When I get back home (on vacation now) I'll get the .jpg of the dynosmy local performance shopran and post'em up.
Interestingly, the dynos run with a "Tornado" and similar device installed showed LOSSES on the dyno...

 

I'm not suprised, the Tornados, and turbinators are just a restriction in the airway. It does no good to try to spin the air because the fuel doesn't enter the airway until just before the head and there is no swirling effect left by the time you get to the end of the runner. The spacers with the swirl groves may help a bit on a TBI or carbed engine where there is fuel in the air.

 

you could try an e-fan, theres another topic on the forum being discussed with gains up to 2-3 mpg's might be the route to go...you can go with the flex a lite extreme 180 series, seems to be what everone els runs...

 

If i were you i wouldnt buy the hypertech, i would want to buy the Edge Mileage Max because you can gain lots of mpg even if you are babying the gas or speeding or towing or whatever the condition you are in....

 

hammer....... when you say little gains on the older 5.9's are you talking about mine? or older,older? and if it is mine what kind of gains? hp? torque?
