hey guy i have a question i jus ordered a lower billet grille for the chrome bumper i have the 2008 big horn with the factory upper billet type grill is it goin to match? or will i have to order another upper to make it match

 

whered you order the lower from? most aftermarket billet grilles have the bars very close together as where the factory grilles bars are more spaced apart.

for it to match your gonna need to go ahead and buy yourself the upper grill portion as well. or ive seen guys get a grille such as yours, black out every other bar and it looks close to matching. but if you dont want to do that and want them to match. then get a new upper grille too.

 

how do you black out every other one?

 

break out the tape. sand every other bar. then prep it with some paint thinner. clean it all up. tape of the ones you want to remain chrome, and paint the exposed (prepped) bars with some good flat or semi flat black paint!

 

i have the same problem,and I love my factory grille....i dont think you could fit but about two bars in the lower grille, and wish i could get just a matching lower grille...
I had a closer grille on my Ford, and like this spaced one more...bighorn, try and find a closer to stock one and then let me know how it works...
