You will notice a HUGH difference when you get new gears! And if you are going to do the new gears then you should see about getting a Detroit Tru Trac LSD! You can probably get a deal since they are going to be in the rear Diff anyway!
Tis true, when I had my 4.56s done I got them to do the install of my Auburn Gear LSD for free as long as I bought the LSD from them...

I was quoted $1960 and talked them down to $1560 after shopping around and making them price match!

For the $1560 I got both front and rear 4:56, Master install kits, Detroit Tru Trac, and all labor! They pinched a CV boot changing the front gears and replaced the front left axle for free!

Check them out, they might have a shop near you. www.4wheelparts.com

4 Wheel Parts in Orlando for me. 4.56 Gears (front & rear), master install kit, Auburn LSD & installation was $1410 for me in June of '06. They originally started out at about $1700, but they'll price match if you do your homework...
I think I told someone else around here with a red truck to make sure he got them down on price, and they came down quite a bit. Don't remember who though...

another question about rubbing. I noticed that the tires rub a little on the front stabilizer bar, what would be the quickest and easiest way to fix that. I was thinking with offset rims or wheel spacers but then would i have to cut away a little bit of my bumper and maybe mud guards to clear the tires? and if i install my 4" lift now would the tires look to small? maybe just a levelling kit? im starting to go crazy now...lol

If your using stock wheels that's your problem. You need a wheel with an offset of 4.5" & that should fix it...
