Default Door lock question

Have an 08 SLT QC. Is there a way to program the locks so they all unlock with one press of the remote, or better yet have all the doors unlock when you turn off the ignition.

Well... there should be a way to use the remote to do the single click... you'll have to read the Owners Manual... or maybe someone else will give you the steps... Fairly easy... I don't know about unlocking when you turn the ignition off.. My 07 unlocks the door when one door opens... and besides... can't you just push the unlock button when you shut it off?

I tried the manual settings, never could get it to work. I have found that the dealer needs to use computer to change any of the remote settings. I cant stand the horn when locking doors.........I will stop at dealer next time Im close by.

The dealer doesn't have to change anything. It worked on my 08 the first time I tried the directions in the users manual.

Yep, mine was already that way as far as when I turn off the truck and open the door, all 4 unlock. It is in the owners manual how to program that function.

As far as one touch remote, I've never seen a truck that did that. My 01 Ford never did either. Once for drivers door and again for the rest. My 07 Grand Caravan unlocks all with one push.

I tried to program the locks per the manual about a month ago and had no luck. Desided to try it again yesterday and it worked on the first try - go figure. Now all the doors unlock when I open one. Also saw in the manual where you can program all the doors to unlock with one press of the remote but I haven't tried it yet.

Someone on this site or one of the other forums posted the instructions to do exactly that. My remote is programmed that I push the button once and all 4 locks open. I did have to perform the instructions twice for it to work.
