So i have a question. I am going to put two alpine type R 12 inch subwoofers in my truck. Now The question i Have is what size amp should i run. The rms on the subs is 500 or 600 i can remember but the max is 1500 and suggestions??

 

perfect amp for 2 type r 12s is an mrdm1005 or the newest model number is an mrp 1000

 

yeah, get a really good amp that runs 1000w RMS... alpine or rockford are pretty good. i had a rockford amp on my type-r in my car and it hit pretty good. the amp was 400w RMS on one 12" type-r

 

go with 500w oneach...rockford does make a great amp at a reasonable price...that's what i run in mine, single 10" rockford punchsub, hit's hard.

 

ya get a 1000..def want the power..i got 2 450's going to my 10in r's andits good. def good choice subs
