if you want to cheap it out..you can go 4" pvc like i did...then when I had the funding, I "wasted" $300+ on the ramhammer...and I'm one of the few na qc's runnin 13's because of it...some may think it's a waste but I'll takem every single time cuz the low-end throttle response is amazing...

I wanted to try something but this was dumb! I am going to get an Airaid or a similar modular tube. Do it the right way or don't do it at all!

Trying to modify the air box by
'Eyeball'
is a
Fool's Errand.

Does the air in your intake
flow smoothly like water in a garden hose
or pulse like machine gun muzzle blast?

How a former high school teacher in Australia
who became a self taught engineer & automotive journalist
successfully tested many air intakes for restriction
then slightly improved
the lowest restriction factory air intake yet measured:

http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_109217/article.html

follow Julian Edgar's example
if you want to mod an air intake

I noticed most of you have removed the HEMI Hat. What is the benifit of doing that? Mine has a CAI with the HEMI HAT inplace. Just wondering if there is a improvement, if there is I may do the same.
