How much should these rim sale for?
Well, good. I may have been reading his comments incorrectly. Glad that's settled.
Oh BTW. Technically I was selling them for more than anyone was willing to pay. To say that I was selling them for "too much" suggests that they aren't worth the asking price. They most certainly are... to me. So I have chosen to keep them.
Thanks for your input.

If the people of the economy aren't willing to pay the price it goes down. Its a basic principle of economics correct?
If you agreethen the price you set people aren't will to pay, making the value of the wheels drop. Its very simple. Just like all our trucks value is decreasing at an enormous rate. Because no one wants to but a car/truck that gets ****ty MPG when gas hits a new record high almost every week.

It is wise for you to keep them if your concerned about loosing money after your purchase for apparently you have not gotten your monies worth yet. Yes, nowI am being a smart-*** if you couldnt tell.
Those are the rules of the open market. Which this isn't. If I had a warehouse full of wheels to move and was experiencing inventory taxes, storage fees, a workforce to pay etc, etc, I would feel pressure to give in to market pressures. I am suffering none of those things and it doesn't cost me a thing to hang on to the wheels. I could even argue that since the wheels are no longer in production and are in like new condition that makes them rare. Now they are a collector item or investment. I may eventually run into a person who thinks they are the perfect wheel for achieving that perfect look. They might pay $3k for one of a kind wheels just a few years from now. You never know.
Honestly, I can get more than $1,500 worth of use out of them myself so why sell them?

Not really. No one has found a dealer selling the wheels I want for less than $4k. I've decided on the Asanti AF 120s.
COME'ON GUYS/GALS! GET TO WORK!
Seriously, there has to be an awesome deal out there somewhere.

I think that if you pee on them yourself that the value will decrease that much faster! In fact get your buddies together, give them all a six pack and tell them to pee on them too... group urinary devaluation!
Yeh but the trouble withthis item being "rare" is simply from a design apsect in this case... like you have alread determined your best bet is just to hold onto them, because you either might need them in the future or after some period of time you might find that one perfect buyer that will give you what you need to get from the set. You could powder coat the inside part and then you would have spent far less than a new set will cost you and updated the old ones to a newer look and just keep using those.

. Then I might consider parting with them for $1200.
