New CAI
Just order a CAI off ebay, one of the ebay specials, one question i have, do i need to reset the computer before i turn my truck on, and also im doin my millage twice before i put it on and i wll do it twice afterwards and let yall know what happends, i no i will be on the gas alot casue when i first get it, thats why im gonna do it twice, i will give an update after i get it
thanks for being willing to do some research and inform us...it what makes peple use these forums.
anyways, i don't think u need to reset comp. i didn't, and everything was fine. when i put my new plugs in, i got a check engine light, but i just disconnected the negative on the battery, and that cleared it right up. so, i guess to be safe, while u are installing intake, disconnect the negative. put it back on when you're done, then start 'er up.

Little update, this last tank lasted 321 miles, mix between city and highway, wasnt able to do my millage becuase i didnt have 100 bucks to fill it up last night, they havent shipped my CAI yet, so imagine ill have another reading by the time i get the cai in..until then
Well the verdict is in on the ebay cold air, not to fond of it, takn the stock air box off, breaze, the install just didnt go my way, i had to fight it for a lil bit for it to work, doesnt have a cool sound, cant tell a huge difference in power, and if anything my gas millage is goin down, but ive also had my foot in it a lil. after a week or 2 ill do my millage again. First thing i did was buy a new filter, after installing, cranking didnt seem as smooth, went down to autozone and bough a spectra filter i beliuve, dont no anyting about it, only one they had that would fit, could tell a lot of difference between the 2, i think if you go with the full intake with the k&n you should injoy it, if not, i wouldnt waste the money as of right now, ill let yall know more after a week or 2
I just put at True Flow XDI intake system on my 3.7. AndI can actually tell a difference in throttle response, and it does make a pretty neat sound when I really get up on it! My RPM's do sit about 350 lower on the highway going 70. So I am getting better gas milage.
