Height with 20" rims
Mine is 7' 1.5", but don't go by that for your measurement!
Get a level out and hold it to your roof and let it hang off the side of the truck until it is level and take a tape measure and get the exact measurement! Because if it were me I would want to know it exactly, and every truck might be a little different depending on stock tires...... It could be a coslty mistake taking someones word for it!

Okay I totally agree that if you're worried you ought to measure the actual height of your vehicle. Me? I enjoy the sense of adventure.
So anyway, according to the '07 brochure ('06 should be similar), height for QC short box is is 74.2", 4wd is 75.9". I'm assuming that these measurements are for QC equipped with the standard 17" tires.
2wd: Assuming no change in suspension to accommodate the 20" tires, the difference in radius between the 245/70-17 and 245/60-20 is about 1.25". So mathematically the height of a QC short box 2wd is about 75.45" (or 6 feet, 3.45 inches).
Sorry, I'm too lazy to show my work or to do the calculation for 4wd.
Here's another data point that might help: My 2wd with the stock 20" tires fits into parking garages in the Los Angeles area advertised to accommodate a 6' 8" vehicle.
Here's some folklore that I tend to believe: the tip of a stock fixed mast antenna is usually designed to be the highest point of a vehicle, so if the antenna hits the ceiling or height indicator at the entrance of a parking garage (go slow), stop and back up. Fellow DFers, pls chime in if you heard that this is BS, inquiring minds want to know...
Related story (sort of): First time I drove my wife's new H3 to work I was running late so I sped into the parking garage, and all of a sudden I heard this gawd-awful WHAP! against something above me, so I stopped and saw the antenna wiggling violently. Figured I was probably okay, so I picked a parking space and inspected the roof... no damage (whew!). All was well until I got home and my wife panics and screams, "Where the hell is my Mickey Mouse antenna ball?!". Fortunately she has a number of spares.

I have the Big Horn version of the same truck. I'm sorry my method isn't very scientific but, I use myself as the guage. At 6' 5", if I can walk under it without stooping I know my truck will fit. Also, it fits under a standard 7' residential garage door. The opening is 7' but the door itself doesn't rise quite that high. (I'd say prolly' 6'8"). I have plenty of clearance when pulling into the garage.
As I said, not scientiic in the least! I have also heard and subscribe to the antenna theory. I think it's accurate.

Cool, thanks everyone, I've tried to do some research and the 6'6" figure is pretty close. Lots of parking lots with a 6'6" clearance so I don't want to risk it! I guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way and use a tape measure!
Oh, my truck is the 4WD Quad Cab.
