WOW, I must be living in the right area when I see the prices some people are paying for "out the door" exhaust systems!

I have a polished SS Magnaflow exhaust, cat installed for $325.

Yea I do...I left the front res on. I would like it louder but the tone it has now is nice...so i'm gonna leave it as is. At first I had both resonators on and it was almost stock quiet but with a deeper tone...way too quiet IMO.

I think that's the route i'm going to take , neighbours won't mind as much, lol ! MDS sounds like crap , maybe will sound a little better with front resonator. I was looking for a subtle tone just to wake her up a little!

I just installed a Magnaflow all stainless steel Catback SI/DO exhaust system on my non MDS Ram about a week ago. I'm quite happy with it. Bolted right up, pipe bends and connections fit like stock, heavy duty and tight. Sounds real sweet, no annoying drone at cruising speeds, relatively quiet at idle, not too different from stock, until it's juiced. I've noticed a moderate bit of a gain in torque, especially in the mid range of the R's.
Being a complete stainless exhaust, it's a bit pricier than less expensive aluminumized steel but I want it to last a long time. Maybe not much of an issue in the dry states, but in the midwest here, I've seen far too many aluminumized dual exhaust systems on late model trucks, with tips crooked, tailpipes hanging, rotting apart.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
