Yeah check out ebay. I just looked and they have some good prices! only thing is i can't stand the way the seats look in the 06-08's they look funkey to me and the cloth pattern is really ugly, and you can't get a dark color leather anymore.

how many miles does that truck have? you should be able to get an 05 with <40k for that price
You are correct about that, he could have mine for less than that, with a plane ticket to Ohio

CT is the 3rd most expensive gas in the united states according to forbes and cnn news. Alaska is the number 1 most expensive gas in the whole united states.... In CT, i paid about 80 dollar (filled up only up to 17 gallons that's it) at $4.35

not going to buy private ever again. I got screwed big time without getting a warranty.

thanks for the research, I am all over craigslist also.
but going to sell my truck privately, then but at the stealerships.
and buying a warranty for peace of mind.

most dealerships want these gas hogs off their lot. but I am not ready to buy now, guessing around may of 09...

yikes, I get gas around here for $4.29 gal but for the most part its $4.39. Just read that gas went DOWN $6.00 a barrel. The gas companies are starting to sweat the reaction our country took by going alternative fuel and cutting back our driving BIG time.
Also, if you go to Stop and Shop you could get up to .40 cents off a gal. They used to go by $50 or better purchases, and get .10 off, but now they have a points system.

I pay roughly $80 a week in gas, and I have a 25mile round trip commute to work. I get about 13-14mpg backroads.

Good to see a fellow CT. forum member.

Their are pros and cons to dealer vs private, the real key is to find a clean ONE owner truck. One thing to keep in mind, 3rd Gen rams up through 05 have a 7/70 powertrain whether you are buying dealer or private.
