New member trailer question
Hi i am a new member with a 2007 Ram 1500 2wd with the hemi. I have a 23' travel trailer and am wondering what the best tow speed is for optimal fuel economy? The truck will pull it 80MPH all day long but I know I am sucking fuel. Will slowing down help that much with a trailer? I know the trailer causes drag so what's everyones opinion? Thank you

RE: New member trailer question
meh the only way you can be difinitive about it is fill er up and go on a trip glin 80 there and 60 on the way back and see what the dif is in mpg's...my truck (04' 2500 4x4 Hemi QC) gets a good ole 8-9 mpg's when towing the dump trailer full about 9,000 pounds
