i have a 2003 Ram 1500 Reg Cab with the 7 speaker ampd infinity setup currently with the factory head unit. id like to know the correct way to wire an aftermarket headunit so the infinity will still work


some say just wire like you would a normal radio but there has to be something extra to turn on the amp right???

any help is greatly appreciated

 

i asked someone at circuit city, i asked on this forum, i asked at best buy, all had the same asnwer: wire it like you would wire any other head unit on any other stock audio system.

 

Yep, buy the correct wiring adapters and it should work fine.
