Default Wheel Lug Nut Cross Thread ????

I went to remove the front wheels on a 06 Ram 2500 Cummins.
The front wheel lug nuts were very difficult to remove.
High torque was required the full length of the wheel stud.
Using a powerful impact gun (450 ft lbs) with 100 psi air.
I could see a problem with one lug nut, but all eight had this problem.
The stud threads look fine.
I tried the rear wheels, and it was typical ....once lug nut was loose, you could remove the lug nut the remainder of the way with your fingers.

Has anybody else experienced this???

If nut and stud threads look ok lube the studs with something like WD-40 and run the nut on and off a couple times.

You could try cleaning up the threads of both the studs and lugs with a tap and die set, or buy some new lugs, then when you go to put the lugs back on, use a little bit of anti-seize.
