Default Help! Truck wont run!

I have a 02 Ram 2500 5.9 with 75k on it. The other week she died on me at a stop sign. Here is my problem it has compression, good fuel pressure and a full tank of gas. It has spark the only way i can get it to run it by turning the distributor so i went for the timing chain it has some slack in it but nothing bad and didnt jump any teeth. I did replace it with the whole kit since i had it apart. The computer is only kicking out a code for an evap leak that has been there for about a month nothing about the cam or crank sensors or anthing. What am i overlooking!!! Hope someone can help

she won't turn on at all now? are you sure that the distributor shouldn't stay turned? maybe it loosened up and is throwing the timing off. check the coil.

Why don't you just get rid of the Dodge and buy something else.

Dude, seriously... every post I've checked tonight, there you are making pointless negative comments. Shut up. Unless you've got something constructive to say, just shut the hell up.

Param2500, try sending a PM to parts/service, he's probably the most knowledgable person on the forum and usually knows the cause and solution of any problem. He probably just hasn't seen your post, so send him a PM.

Hey Pyro,
I f dude thinks he should get something else, say a chevy sliverado or ?
Let him, its a free country. I tried chevy in 2002 and regretted the day i brought the damn thing home and parked it in my driveway. All i heard from my brothers was how good chevy was, and everything else.So i gave GM my money for 2 years, and then i went and got my dodge, used the chevy as trade, pleased ever since!!
