HIDs or Silverstars?
I know silverstar doesnt make our headlight bulbs, but should I get them for fogs and another headlight bulb or just do the HID install? and I dont wanna hear why HIDs are bad
go hid you will never regret it just dont get the halogen hi beam built int he bulb it blocks light and barley works at best
so if you want to get better light and keep hi beam than get a bi xenon bulb

raider, i value your word alot, so ill get it strait from you! what kit are you getting, and how are they keeping all of this flickering and lamp out lights from happening? ive heard of them having to include a cancel for our computer, so whats the word about that? what temp do you like? Im kinda looking toward the 6K, but might go to the 8K
the trick i've caught so far w/ the short time mine were in was that you had to let teh bulbs warm up b4 starting teh truck for a minute or two
otherwise everytime i got in teh truck it said lamp out
how do you fix that?

I actually purchased the Maxvision kit. Gotta love a lifetime warranty. 4300K is the brightest color for HID. I have them for my fogs but need to re-wire them because the Dodge dealer messed them up. I went with 6000K for the headlights because they have a hint of blue to them and will match my angel eyes in the headlights.
ha congrats jay on winning the chop on *****talk, i knew i recognized u

go with the HIDs. i mean silverstars are better than the regular halogens, but nothing compared to an HID. as far as the flickering goes, im not sure how to fix it, but it only seems to occur with the cheaper lesser quality kits. and the maxvision that raider has does not. its a direct plug and play. no flickering. only problem its a hell of a lot more expensive
