I have a friend with an '04 2500 crew cab with a broken rear sliding window. To replace with the same he has been quoted $1600 to $1900. When he asked about replacing it with a one piece window he was told that "the cabs are different and it can't be done". He has been told this by at least two suppliers and several others have said they don't have a listing and don't know. This seems ludicrous to me. I would have guessed that a $30 gasket and $200 piece of glass would be all that was called for and readily available. Can anybody confirm that it is either not available or that Dodge really made different cabs for sliders/non-sliders?
Thanks for any info,
Jim

i bought a power slider and had it installed for about $620.00 parts and labor, then i hooked up the switch just below the turn signal. It's nice being able to open and close without stopping and climbing in the back seat. the company that makes them is CR Laurence,
