as some of you may know i posted about a $24 cold air intake on ebay...looked pretty awsome in the pic well it came today and i wasent impressed....AT ALL, but i guess thats what i get for buying off ebay...well to start off the intake pipes are half an inch smaller in diamiter than my stock intake...then the filter they sent me was the el-cheapo from autozone thats about 3" long and 4" around.. little bitty thing...and to top it all off the pcv system doesent even hook up to it....grrrr

heres some pics of installation and whats on the ebay pic.

wow, thats why I hate buying from ebay. the pics look good. and when you get it, its a piece of crap.

I bought a $50 intake from ebay for my 99 dak and when I got it, it wouldnt even fit. I had to really mess with it just so it would bolt on. and it would never stay on tight and always fall off. so I just threw it out. alteast your not out too much money..... now put your stock air box back on or go buy a ramhammer

Just buy the Airraid intake for $110 and be done with it...you don't need to spend $300+ on a CAI.

I'm trying to figure out why they call it "cold air induction" when it obviously is "hot air induction"! The only place it's going to get air is from the hot air under the hood! The stock airbox gets colder air from outside the engine compartment. I think the factory setup would be much better than this one is!
