Default What should I buy ?

I wanna get a truck for camping and off roading the seating room isnt a big deal for me so im stuck between the 2008ish 1500 reg cab trx4 but i dont know wether to go with the hemi and be stuck with automatic or go for the 4.7 and get a standard or my other option is the 2500 which i would get in teh quad cab cus i dont really like the reg cab long box i kinda wanna get the 2500 cus of the solid front axle that way i would put detroit lockers front and rear but should i go with the diesel or just get the hemi in the 2500. The one down fall i find with the 1500 is the ifs is that really much of a problem or should i play it safe and get the 2500 so i can have the solid axles?

Pick up a new '08 1/2 ton with the huge discounts they are offering & the lifetime warranty...then take the money you saved and pick up a nice old 12v.

The "new" 4.7 has good power, especially with the manual transmission...should be nearly as fast as a stock Hemi w/automatic and is a lot more fun to drive with the 3 pedals.

Just get a MegaCab Hemi and love it like I do.....
